Harro van Lente joins SSU 2010

Prof. Dr. Ir. Harro van Lente of the section Innovation Studies has agreed to accompany the participants during the SSU 2010 to Tel Aviv. It is a good custom that one or two members of the teaching staff join the study tour to share their insights and specific knowledge on innovation theory. Van Lente specialises in ‘Emerging Technologies’ and teaches various subjects such as Innovation Policy and Innovation Theory. He is also professor at Maastricht University on the subject of Philosophy of Science. We are very happy to have him on the team.

Clarification

Lately, we have been getting some questions such as:

Who can participate in the studytour?

Everyone having doubts about whether he or she can participate in the SSU studytour should please take note of the following:

The application for the SSU 2010 to Tel Aviv is open for:

  • All students that are currently in the NW&I or SIM programme, excluding 1st year Bachelor students, and
  • All alumni of NW&I and/or SIM who graduated in the academic year 06-07 or later and are still doing a (study track related) programme (e.g. Drug Innovation, Energy Science).

Please be aware of the fact that during the selection procedure the board will use quota to make sure that each studytrack is represented accordingly and that there is an appropriate proportion of Bachelor and Master students.

If you still have any doubt whether you can participate in the studytour feel free to contact us.
